US Vogue November 2011 : Rooney Mara : Mert & Marcus

US Vogue’s November 2011 cover surprised me in two ways. Firstly, I hate the fact that Wintour puts actresses on the cover. Covers should be for models, television screens are for actresses. But Rooney Mara, who already has the body and face of a fashion mode, really makes this cover pop for me. Secondly, notice the photographer. Mert & Marcus for US Vogue? You betcha.
