Top Newcomers of S/S 2012
The S/S 2012 season has sadly wrapped up and now comes the decision on who the “breakout” stars were. Only a few select girls who are new book the right shows, offering ultimate exposure. Also, it’s good to mention it’s very hard for a new girl to book more important shows, simply because the bigger shows normally just have direct bookings for models.

Next’s French beauty basically walked all the important shows: Calvin Klein, Jason Wu, Marc by Marc Jacobs, Tommy Hilfiger, and more in New York. Dolce and Gabbana, D&G, Fendi, Gucci, Emilio Pucci, and more in Milan. Alexander McQueen, Balenciaga, Balmain, Chloé, Givenchy, Elie Saab, and more in Paris.

2. Erjona Ala @ Ford
This Norwegian stunner from Ford thrived this season walking 64 shows. In New York, Ejona booked Jason Wu, Michael Kors, Prabal Gurung, Monique Lhuillier (which she opened), and more. In London, she closed five shows, including Topshop Unique, and walked in Pringle of Scotland, Burberry, Acne, and more. In Milan, Ejona walked Emilio Pucci, Missoni, and more. In Paris, she booked Balenciaga, Chanel, Givenchy, Yves Saint Laurent, and more.

3. Kati Nescher @ DNA
DNA’s German beauty Kati Nescher walked 32 shows this season. In Milan, she booked Jil Sander, Prada, Missoni, and more. Kati took Paris by storm and booked 17 shows, including Alexander McQueen, Céline, Givenchy, Miu Miu, Valentino, Yves Saint Laurent, and the season closer Louis Vuitton and more.

4. Antonia Wesseloh @ Ford
The F/W 2011/2012 Prada star had huge season. Originally from Germany, Ford’s Antonia Wesseloh booked 35 shows this S/S 2012 season. In New York, she walked Marc Jacobs, Prabal Gurung, Rodarte, and more. In London, she walked Topshop Unique and more. In Milan, her shows included walked Prada, Just Cavalli, and more. In Paris, Antonia walked Balenciaga, Chanel, Miu Miu, Valentino, Louis Vuitton, and more.

5. Ros Georgiou @ Marilyn
Marilyn’s Ros Georgiou stunned this season. In New York, the Greek beauty walked Calvin Klein as an exclusive. In London, she booked Acne, Christopher Kane, and more. In Milan, Ros booked Jil Sander and Versace. Ending with Paris, she walked Alexander McQueen, Céline, Haider Ackermann, Sonia Rkiel, and more.
