Nylon Mexico | Andressa Fontana by Sarra Fleur Abou-El-Haj
I first met Andressa Fontana in 2009 backstage at the Yeohlee runway fashion show in New York City for the Spring 2010 line. Seeing this editorial reminded how fun models can be. Andressa likes to dance and sing in Brazilian backstage. It also reminded me that in the three years of owning my Canon 5D Mark II, I have yet learned how to edit the videos I shot back in 2009. :]] So, here is a screen capture and be sure to watch the YouTube behind the scenes video for this Nylon Mexico shoot. You’ll see that models aren’t suppose to be still and posed like most think. They need to be lively and fun even in four inch heels which clearly comes out in these photographs.
Also, the next time you are in NYC, go to the East Village and check out St. Mark’s Place(it’s a street). They have amazing Yakitori and the best Belgium frites at a little shop called “Pommes Frites”.
