Life After John Galliano…Dior Haute Couture F/W 2012 Collection

The moment has came. The Dior house presented it’s Haute Couture F/W 2012 collection in Paris.

The collection, as a whole, received negative reviews from Dior fans, most stating that “the house needs to bring John Galliano back.”

Personally, I have the same opinion. This collection was a mess. Everything was just not there. The fabrics were tacky, the prints, colors, silhouettes, everything. I was extremely disappointed when I saw this, especially when I noticed Karlie didn’t open. Her walk and attitude always make the show so much more special. Instead, Karlie closed in a huge clown-esque gown. Gag.

Not to mention, most of the collection was taken from other designers. (Does anyone see any Prada in those skirts or is it just me?)

Anywho, here are some highlights of the collection. John Galliano is either crying or laughing his ass off over this mess. Whatever he may do, I hope he gets a phone call before Spring/Summer 2012 because the Dior House desperately needs a new designer that knows how to create COUTURE. -Taylor
